Parking Permit Cost Decrease for Faculty and Staff
In response to employee feedback collected during the Strategic Planning process and subsequent open forums with faculty and staff, UCF will be transitioning to a universal parking model for commuter parking permits that will result in a significant cost decrease for faculty and staff.
Effective August 7, all 365-day virtual parking permits for students, faculty and staff will cost $95.88 after tax. Residential and 24-hour reserved parking permits will remain at their current rates.
Those with valid permits expiring after August 7 should renew on the date that their current permit will expire. That date can be found in the Virtual Parking Portal. Parking Services will also communicate directly with employees who have already renewed their FY24 permits regarding refunds.
All employees will be issued “B” permits, and designated “C” lots will merge with “B” lots as general employee parking in the coming months. Faculty and staff are still permitted to park in spaces in “D” lots or garages.
As a reminder, virtual parking permits are required for all who park at any UCF location, including the main campus; Research Park (including Foundation buildings); UCF Downtown, the Rosen College for Hospitality Management; and the Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona.
Parking Services will soon be updating signage and its website, materials and procedures to reflect these changes and to share additional details.
Please visit Parking Services’ website for additional information.
