WORKDAY FINANCE & HR ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING

(ERP) SYSTEM ACCESS AND TRAINING

Implemented on July 1, 2022, Workday is the secure, cloud-hosted  Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that replaced UCF’s former Finance (UCF Financials) and Human Capital Management (HCM)  PeopleSoft system.  Workday provides a modern, unified Finance and HR system; simplified time management; standardized business processes; reporting with real-time data; cloud-based analytics and much more.

Workday’s Adaptive Planning-a cloud-based tool that allows the end user to build and manage their budgets and reporting in a transparent environment, was launched just a few months later (in October 2022).  The implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning supports UCF’s budget model through collaborative financial planning and budget process management.

The student system (UCF Campus Solutions) remains in PeopleSoft, and is expected to transition to Workday in mid to late 2025 (exact date TBD).
